Public forums are special topic lectures open to the public that are meant to inform, educate, and promote conversations about various topics related to pain, in addition to, other medical and health-related subjects.

Special topic lectures
The Ontario Pain Foundation has hosted 2 Public Lectures in the Halton/Hamilton area.
One was on Alzheimer’s Disease featuring Dr. Margaret Fahnestock speaking on Changes in the Brain in Dementia and Prevention, and Dr. Christopher Patterson speaking on Forgetfulness, Dementia and Alzheimer’s Disease
The other was on Medical use of Marijuana, featuring Dr. Gord Ko speaking on Chronic Pain and Fibromyalgia, Detective/Constable Weasner spoke on Policy Reform and Law Enforcement, and a registered user spoke on Policy Cannabis use from the User Perspective.
Each Public Lecture attracted 80 to 90 people from the local communities.
